April Way

A day that passes time moves on,

I watched the sunset fade into dawn,

As the evening crept in and day faded away,

Just another hour in this april way....

Time sure does pass as I sway,

Though we try to live from day to day,

In all the glory once was to stay,

That was the past but not in today....

For the world has changed in this spring,

As I watch the birds spread thier wing,

Saying I wish I could fly,

And leave this area just you and I....

But time heals all that remains,

What’s left in the dust shall never change,

Just sweep it up and toss it out,

Move the heck on without any doubt....

Who cares about the past in sight,

That’s looking back it’s never right,

So stay forward and always do,

What’s in your future will never be blue....

Think out loud and speak your wind,

I’ll be here untill the end,

I never change for who I am,

But everytime you leave I say damn....

It’s ok to stray away,

It’s your life anyway,

Go jump up and outta the way,

I didn’t care much to this day....

But I’m ok for I say, I’ll never be alone

In this April way,

Because I know now what to say,

I trust in God, This April Way....
