no questions no lies

They all ask the same
Neverending question
They must think it’s a game

Why did you leave?
They all ask again
I reply with my favorite line
Ask no questions and I shall tell no lies

It allows me to avoid you the
Embarrassment
I would tell them the truth
That you were a let down, a failure, who had no unique views
You sweet talked me into believing
I liked you

How wrong I was
With your every touch
My skin crawled
With your every word
My head hurt

Your lack of caring is
What did it the most
Or was it the fact you talked
As if you were a child
Mocking me

I say yes
You say yes
I say no
You say no
I never once heard your own
Opinion

So instead of saying all this I save you
You should be grateful
I doubt you are
So I save you and say
Ask no questions and I shall tell no lies

It is certainly venting your anger and to that end you have illustrated it.
Are these the words of on the spot rage, or were they really there all the time ?
