~~Winds of Chance~~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Tuesday, 1st April 2008 @ 09:20:02 AM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

Blown back to life by the winds of chance
Sent here again, other lives to enhance.
Captain once more of your own ship,
Finally, on life, you have a firm grip.

Advice given in times gone by,
Never was in short supply.
Crashing like waves onto the shore
When needed, there was always more.

Once lost in the sea of existence,
You went away to keep your distance.
Now, like a true sailor you have returned to your boat
Your sole purpose, to help others stay afloat.

This time you need to stay on course
No more will you have any remorse.
Give others the benefit of your guidance
Thank God for the winds of chance!

the break served you well.
I'd put this up against all your other writes, altho all your writing is great.
I've written you one and I wrote it before I even got online so this is the first time I've read this masterpeice of heart, soul and all that is good.
Luv ya sis,
emy

Every true sailor knows what signs to follow. He watches the stars placed in the heavens above and the dolphins in the ocean below. All guided by God in his infinite wisdom. Maybe this sailor received more from all of you than each of you knew. Such a great write Jenni.

Beautifully written.
I thoughly enjoyed reading it.

The past is now behind you
whallowing in the troughs of waves
Your future is where the wind dost drive you
So let your boat before the wind do dance
For dull is the life that never takes a chance.

This is so kind and gentle! Whoever this was for must have had trouble holding the tears back when they read it. Great piece of work!
