weary and bruised as the pages of our fathers of old
covered by dust, it melts in the sun
sang with tunes, melodies echoed over the skies
blasts of lightning holds the truth
brings forth memoirs of the past
the hand of time, piece of the puzzle
our future long foretold
scars on our faces...
stains of blood from the angels above
a war of thousand years they fought...
seasons of silence
screams and sighs
hate that lurks everywhere
shadows of the heart
blurred visions in sight...
through the years, chaos turns to fears
bonds broken to evoke the light
an afterimage from the spirit of fire
and when the dreamer wakes up...
he'll find himself touching life.
