Viola, you are the sea, and I am the morning sun.
I am the inlet, and you are the increasing tide.
You are the dusk,
The stars settle on my chest.
Viola, you are beautiful.
Your smile steals my fingers.
You are an empty street,
A dog barks in the distance.
I see you in the dark,
A thousand streetlights shattered at the edge of an endless sea.
Viola, I love—
