THE WEB

The web sparkles in the morning sun,
with dew drops glistening like precious gems
hung in circular patterns,
with threads,
like silver necklaces adorned with jewels.
Droplets traverse the intricate maze:
made of a silk like material,
durable and sticky to the touch.
Geometrically designed, along straight lines,
but what function does it serve?
The web provides a wealth of information:
as it grows and expands beyond imagination,
according to the laws of supply and demand.
While the spider may prey upon those in the fray,
valuable material is on the web every day.
What an integral pattern we weave.
A constructed configuration takes shape,
where different Web sites interconnect,
and link together to demonstrate
a comprehensive view to appreciate.
Yet the Internet can be a dangerous place,
where one's privacy may be at stake.
We must be careful not to be led astray,
and be cautious about what we say.
A menacing threat may be only a click or bite away.

Terry,
I rather enjoyed this piece. The integration of a spiders web with the internet ... how fitting in a multitude of ways. A unique and intriguing read.
Peace
