gliding forward now...

gliding forward now
the ground beneath exhales, according to illusion
of movement--still--we percieve this
motion to be
in conversation
with our bodiless feet.
that if we ever were
to touch the earth again
we may be seen as torn
between two inexplicable worlds--those
transpiring dimensions upon awakening
the troubled state of mind, for some time now
have washed over all
of humanity
in need of reconciliation--we’ve come so far only to lose sensation
of manifestation.
It’s not so easy to define, but simple to find
its presence in our lives, my life, like yours
seems further from the reality of blood
surging through veins, arteries, capillaries--and finally hearts
under skin, between bones--our flesh
is the only source of confirmation
in this physical
world of spritual
elation.
But to have traveled thus far, and while still
lost--this confusion reveals the illusory sense
of confinement. Why is it
that while imprisoned
the greatest works appear?
I have read the books, essays, and journals
of sages. I have seen the front cover of the New York Times,
I have delved into them to find my story, which
I can only postulate what, where, when, why,
how? did it define the mind of the time,
grassroots, brushfire, polluted cities--the earth’s
coming back full circle, cycling rhetorically
questioning
the human condition, which
expresses its affliciton in diction, rhyme, free-style, full
comprehension of our soul’s contention--the tragic
body stands--waits
for resonance--our collective actions, removed
from the mass transit of our current state,
lie submerged, boiling--it’s rising action
explodes soon, scalds our naked feet, exposes the weakness
of authoritative transgressions, and crumbles
like crippled pillars.

I liked this write, it makes the reader pause and pay attention to detail within the verse. Nicely done.
