You are my sunshine, my ray of hope
Through troubled times, you have kept me afloat.
I feel like im in heaven when im near you
How I wish you think of me the same way too.

Im standing here struck by your guiding light
How now when I think of you, my life seems so bright.
How much I care for you my dear, I cannot say
Your smile is all I need to illuminate my day.

Sunlight, piercing the shadows along my way
I forever wish that you are here to stay.
Streams of joy and happiness that rain from above
How you, always and forever, will be the one I truly love

I love you so much my dear,
How now I wish I could have you near...
