Lost within her dreams
Afraid to let you go
Scared to return to reality
A place she does not know.

She's still holding on.

Trapped within the comfort
Her dreams of being within your embrace
Wanting to never awaken again
To forever be with you, face to face

She's still holding on.

Captured within the falsehood
A love not meant to be
To be without you she will not endure
A hopeless heart too blind to see.

She's still holding on.

Fastened within her happiness
Refusing any reason to go on
Failing to see that you no longer love her
That the man of her dreams is now forever gone.

She's still holding on.
