When my mind wandered
I found a new life
Hidden in the bushes
Hidden from the light
I wandered through the scrub
Somewhere in my mind
A funny little place
A place I can’t find
I knew it’s was in there
This place where I could hide
I only had to find it
It was somewhere deep inside
If I kept looking
Kept trying to divine
Eventually paradise
Everything’s fine
Now its come time to
End this little verse
So I must continue
On my endless search
Thus, on my way
Off I shall go
When I find this secret alcove
Some how I will know.

| Your poem illustrates that within all of us resides a hidden cubicle, a spot only we secretly know. But we realize that it's there, only then light becomes us. Really nice write, I really enjoyed it. Thank you. |
