An honest nightmare?

Contributed by skitzo-da-clown on Wednesday, 26th March 2008 @ 12:55:49 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

When you're sleeping
and your mind is away dreamin
and without the meaning to
you're droolin on your pillow (Admit it)
you finally for once that day see yourself
and no matter how much you can't
believe what you see
there is no help
no assistance
and you are not strong enough for resistance
its hopeless
and pointless
don't try to ignore this
you see sight of what you are
and witness how far
the animal that we lock away
everyday (for society's sake)
becomes awake
and gets his time to play
horror and fear grip us
but we forget the beast that is
before us
is nothing more than us
behind our civil fronts.
But when we wake in the morning
and the drool is steadily pouring
and we look into our mirror's sight
and try to forget what we saw last night
For is that horrid beast still in tact?
Human Biengs are animals nothing more.......
and that's a fact.....................

Not a bad write, has a dark and sinister side but at the same time a sense of humor, bit loose in parts but a good write none the less
