How about rip me open, to see how filthy I bleed
Watch as the broken promises pour from me
Cant you hear, the lullaby lies and silent screams are ringing in my ears
Yes, you say you love me, from a distance and in the past
But was that love or was it fake
See I dont know the difference, your meaningless words were so gorgeous
Im pulling out old all the old pictures, blank eyes mocking my movements
Dragging up the old memories, all the razorblade beauties
Let your hate cascade on my skin
Searing the flesh, scarring more than wrists
Silly of me, to think that you cared
So forgettable, not at all memorable
Impossible to love, so easy to hate
Pathetic of me, to think you would dare
What happened to us, or was that even real then
I was close to you when you acted, acted like I actually was your friend
And if you care, know that I cant see
Not now with your disapproving eyes and nonsense lies
Im singing myself to sleep tonight
Lying on this messy bathroom floor
If you meant it, I cant see it
Wrapped up in the promises no one seems to keep
Im remembering the faces, that mock me in reality
Hearing the old words, that unlocked my sharp therapy
Its amazing what one best friend can do to me
Your hate pours on me in the end, burning more than just my skin
Senseless of me to act like you cared, its so hard to love me anyway
Im forgettable, never lovable
Weak of me to believe you dared
Once again at a loss in my heart
I never meant to bore you with my sob stories
But you claimed I could come to you and talk
More words with less meaning
And like an old familiar song, with words I think but never say
I miss you, I miss you
No matter how long youve been gone
And I know your hand will never fit in mine
But Im still singing that chorus line
