I began to carve a picture
A picture for all to see
But then I thought about it
And now that picture's just for me
The pictures really pretty
Its a really pretty color red
Oh no, what do I do now?
My pictures all over my bed
No one else can see my picture
Or else they get really mad at me
So I started carving all my pictures in places where no one else could see
I like to draw these pictures
They make me feel really good
They helped me learn to deal with things
I never thought I could
My friend, she found my pictures
And she's begging me to stop
But this is just one habbit
I can't ever seem to drop
One day ill draw too many pictures
And a fountain will appear
I let this fountain start to flow
And watch as all my troubles disappear.

wow. i really like this poem...i like how you use 'pictures' to describe the abuse...its a new approach.
i would advise you to stop abusing yourself though...i struggled with it too...i still do...but you can overcome it. feel free to message me at anytime if you're feeling overwhelmed. we can get through this! |
