My heart must not be broken
'Cause I'm not dead yet
Fresh wounds heal then scar
Crushed bones broken and reset
My heart must not be broken
I feel it beating in my chest
A rhythm lulled in syncopation
Weaving between each given breath
Wouldn't love be easier if the heart
Came with instructions inside?
And on the outside read: Caution
If Broken you Die
My heart must not be broken
But the pain still lingers...Why?
If only to let me know
Thank goodness I'm still alive

So very true...we spent many years training and studying for the career of our choice and no time at all on learning how to love... so sad....
