I am leaving, but only my body.

Contributed by Keisha on Friday, 21st March 2008 @ 03:10:27 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

When I leave I give to you,
Everything you want me too.
When I go, don’t ask why,
There will be peace, after you cry.

When you miss me,
Remember I did not flee.
Wonderful are our precious memories.

When you’re angry because I am not there,
Please be calmer, remember I cared.
When you think I am not around,
Lift your head, I will be found.

When you wished I didn’t go,
I will be there, Just so you know.

Our love will still grow stronger each day,
When I die, I leave you my love,
In an amazing way.

I will watch you from a distance,
For you my children I will make a difference.
So when I have to leave,
Remember it's only my body.

Emotions running powerful and raw. Such a heart breaking write filled with love. I hope it is a poem in thoughts and something that is not going on in real life for you..

It's very moving, touching I too hope that you're not on your way.
Please p.m.
big huggs, luv, peace, joy,
emy

Nice write. Pure love represented. I wrote a poem about my children, titled, "I Am You." Check it out if you get a chance. Again, nice writing.
