Hes said it before
hell say it again
doing those drugs
drinking those drinks
they're just slowly killing him
but thats his goal
always has been
&& he'll never know
how i feel

This is rather sad, but pointedly sums up an addict's state of mind and can certainly be subject to quite a bit of interpretation.
