i lay in my bed
thoughts run through my head
eight years pass
since he was found dead
i remember him well
and the stories he would tell
tales of great joy
and those of pure hell
i awoke with great fright
tonight of all nights
the eighth aniversary
of his death in that fight
i felt it inside
and broke down and cried
he sent me a signal
from the other side
