Crystal Waters

Contributed by NoSaint on Wednesday, 19th March 2008 @ 01:04:08 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Crystal waters rush on by
As the lady glances
Flitting past are fireflies
As the night dances

High above the stars shine
Bringing choirs of crickets
Rabbits on berries dine
In the patch thickets

Magical this night be
Her heart swells with love
As the wind caresses the trees
And off flies a white dove

This is where she lives the most
With nature as her friends
Walking the night like a ghost
Where the crystal river bends

Moonlight envelopes her
Giving an eerie glow
As she stops to pet a deer
And listen to the water flow

Soon she will have to awaken
And be once more Mother and Wife
But in her dream land not forsaken
She can live an extraordinary life

Owner of both worlds is she
For love she has for all
Especially her time with trees
Where the crystal waters fall

Oh Shari, what a pleasant and oh! so beautiful place. If I could just find
myself wrapped inside your poem, how extraordinary the world might
become. Protected with a softness that only dreams could know, life
is a blessing. Beautiful piece, hun and damn poetic. Such a pleasure to read.
