Echo'd Heart

Contributed by kissingsolitude on Monday, 17th March 2008 @ 08:38:45 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Wither'd
Wrapped among us
Tear shed
'N goodbye
The petals
Of failed success
No arms
Entwined
No lips to find.

Eyes
Only wet
Astray
From reality
Shamed
'N darkness.

Far past
The ros'd bloom
'N smoldering days
Heart Fried upon spit
Swished in denial
Which way takes leave?

Hidden shadow
Pulling for you
Then throwing
The way of trash
Tugging
Of passion and needs
Far from sight
Heating
Still
The frozen heart.

Step
Upon the twig
Alarm
Beware
In trial
Pensive
Words
Cut from the throat
Bleeding
Upon the pavement
Eyes
Watching last breaths
Sorrowful
Ever more.

On toe
Dance of two
Spinning top
In Hades hand
Captured
Caged
Shout to ears
Sung
Upon broken wings
Mended
Stagnant
Longing
Trapped.

Bleeding
Pulsing heart
In your hands
Gift
Bow'd in gold
Trophy
For your eyes
Bright
Crimson light
Shaded branches
Feast
Upon my soul.

Taken
Drained
Pained
Wrinkled
Shrunken head
Thrown
Upon the bat
Lower
'N lower
Spec
Of nothin' more.

Face
No more
Identity lost
Wallet
Ingested
In heaves
Your breath.

Drug
Elighten'd
Thrust
From my soul
Kiss
I loved you
Not enough
Vanished glass.

Home
Or world
Love
Or freedom
Menage a trois
Of chance
Dice
Upon the game
Question
Left pondered
Still unanswer'd.

In between
Good
Evil
Tight rope
Haze
Cries
To deaf ears
Hidden mystery
Locked tight
Key
Upon the window sill
Take it now
Show me
Free me
Unbind
Ropes
Upon the ground
Engulfed
Rage crept
Age foils
Love....................

Goodbye
Hello
Spoken silence
Emotion
Black and white rolling
Memory
Present gone
Reality
Binding
Choice
Upon the wind
Wings mended
Broken
Cage
Wide open.

Lost
For all ages
Lingerin' doubts
Chain'd
In mind
Around
The roots
That bares your heart
Corner'd
Alone
Crossroads apparent
Your heart
Or mine?

Love
Together
Solo
Apart
Either poison
Cuts and kills
Just the same
Underground
Grave enlightenment
Will come
To late
Hopefully
Fate
Followed
'N roads
Long and strong
Not dead
'N ending
In halt
Of facade.

Bullet
Soar through the air
Reveal
The grave
Or
The future
Give me the kiss
To cure the fog
In mind's
Sight
And ease
Past tomorrow
In arms
One
Or two
Here
Or there
Fall dead
And over
His eyes
I look
Are they
Will they
Be there?

Well you've certainly set the bar high with your first piece on here.
I have the feeling this will be the first of many.
Good write

Steve
