Inverted cross, morbid desires
and all that’s fake, fearing not death
but forever a child of the night.
Appear into the light and burn to cinders,
O’ the curse of the lessor vampire.
Upon thee a brash desire of fulfilment and
fated upon me a banishing of your kindred.
Yet, the skies they’re not azure and heartening,
my skies they’re gray and melancholic.
My fate, a desire it is not.
