cursed orb arise!
in full power, the moon this night
it feasts upon life energies
and reaches out
grips the world tight
feel its pull, it pulls the tides
it pulls the minds
of those susceptable
to murderous thoughts
and the suicidal
monstrous skull-like visage
laughing down at the world
the silver sphere, tugging at our souls
worshiped by twisted moon cults
chanting praises to the night god
but it lives in ignorance of man's cries
it lives in ignorance of insignificant man
a being not of this dimension
vulture feasting on the corpse of mankind
parasite, massive and ancient
every time it rises in full
a shroud of madness descends
blankets the earth
as tendrils creep through human minds
it is not human lives
it seeks to end
only to nurture, hatred
violence and cruel intent
for this is the meat
that feeds diabolical existence
cursed moon, twisted sphere
drunk off of humanity's madness and fear
for millenia dormant it has lain
the evolution of sentient life
has allowed it to awake
since then all history has been shaped
that voice deep within
inside all our brains
whispering deeds, silver tongue
the words twist minds, slowly making them insane
forcing man to feed
its unending malice and spite
the watcher, sadistic father in the sky
here for mans birth, and will be here for mans demise
its traversed the void
many galaxies have come before
bore witness, as civilizations began
then quickly rose and fell
eternal moon, patient hunter
world devourer, cosmic leech
man is not the first
and by far not the last
countless eyes have gazed upon it
not knowing the dark intent
the malevolant intelligence
that smolders beneath the surface
eternal moon,constant purveyor of strife
patient hunter, the great cosmic leech
