West winds blow with anger and might,
Nice weather if you're into kites,
Rising seas ruin afternoon teas,
Just saw it on the BBC.
Roads are quiet that's a plus,
Bit windy to get the bus,
Flustered gulls flap quickly nowhere,
Folk are too blustered to possibly care.
Mother nature returning our sins,
Oh crap there goes the bin!
Days since I heard songbirds sing,
Typical English spring....

Well, Mr Cairns, you back on here aswell? I thoroughly enjoyed it, a very honest piece, as the weather at the moment is definitely what I'd call blustering! I also love the rhyme scheme (I'm not a philistine who thinks that rhyme should be dead and buried) :D |
