I sit alone in this dark room thinking about you.
what will I say and what shall I do when my dream of meeting you finally comes true.
I miss you now, I'll miss you tomorrow,
it's hard to say I'll be ok when you're not here cuz all I have is sorrow.
I dread the time when I have to say goodbye to you each night,
I try so very hard to keep you awake, but in the end I give in and lose the fight.
If only for a minute time would stand still,
my heart would be content in knowing its dream would be fulfilled.
Don't get me wrong, I treasure each day we spend together.
If I had my way, we'd do that everyday.
But sadly when it's all over and time to part,
I know I'm going to miss you with all my heart.
