Devil's Cry's
The more you hurt,
The more my pain grows,
All the while,
I hide the devil within,
With a plastic smile,
My life a nightmare to me,
A fairy tale to you.
You laugh and play with my heart,
As if it has no worth,
My love scared by my own hands,
To cut them,
To ease the pain,
Yet the scorn stays.
All I seek is hidden,
And all I try to avoid,
Is pushed unto me,
All I seek is withheld,
By your arms.
The silence, The peace, not for me.
Just the devil's cry's.

I just want to say... I connected with this poem in more ways than one... Thank you... it is a nice one.
I like how mystical it is and the part i liked best is:
"My life a nightmare to me,
A fairy tale to you. "

great imagery is conjured up in this write
i enjoyed reading it ..you have a way with words "you laugh and play with my heart as if it has no worth".... that is one hum- dinger of a quote and says it all big time
