Consider the love of Kassie
How she wanted Richard so
If only she did not have this curse
Of having the last word
A young woman once fond of speaking
Saw Richard one fine day
He called out to her many times
Only repeating everything he would say
She went to him
Only wanting his love to be
Instead, he coldly turned away
“I would rather die”, said he
Feeling alone and now rejected
Kassie went to hide
She became all rock and bone
Her voice now only alive
Nevertheless, she is waiting
Ready to reply

It has been many years since I have visited this story. I rather enjoyed the stirring of memories.
Peace
