Best Friend (you didn't have to be so nice [I love you])

Dedicated to my dearest friend. Of whom I live for. I would be unable to live without her by my side. She's saved me so many times. She's stayed with me, no matter what. I would do anything for this girl. I would die for her. I'm glad I know her, glad we met, glad she let me in. She's an amazing person, I think everybody needs someone of this importance in their life. I'm one of the lucky few who find someone so perfect to have as a best friend.

You didn't have to be so nice
Didn't have to be so kind
You didn't have to pay attention to me
You could have given me a cold shoulder
You could have shot me down

For some odd reason, you let me in
So I opened my doors
Opened them wide
Invited you in
I'm glad that you've stayed
Glad you've made yourself comfortable
No I'll never push you out
And I hope you'll never leave

We've shown each other
Each other's scars
Told our deepest darkest
Vowed to never lie
We know each others limits
Know which skeletons to never uncover
We know how to get into each others minds
We each know almost everything about the other
Except for those dark skeletons that are to never be touched

Of all the people in the world
You chose me
Chose me to be your friend

Thank you
For opening up to me
Trusting me
Believing in me
Loving me.

You're my everything
You're the person I wake for
The one that I trust, and can go to
For you, I would do anything

I would walk a million miles
Walk a billion steps
I would drop everything I have
Leave everything I've known
Everything I love
I'd walk the highways if they led straight to you
Even if they were on fire
I'd climb mountains for you
I would fly to you if I could
I'd do anything to get to you
If you died, I'd be right behind
And follow you to where ever you went
I'd catch a bullet for you
If you had one last breath to breathe, I'd give you all I've got
So you could live on
If you needed a kidney, a heart,
I'd rip it right out of me and hand it to you
If it was my last dying breath, I'd save it to tell you that I love you
Oh honey, I would do anything for you

And you know, if I could,
I'd take away everything that's hurt you
Take away all the pain
I wouldn't let anything harm you

You are so beautiful
You're a goddess
You're a savior

You didn't have to be so nice
Didn't have to be so kind
You didn't have to pay attention to me
You could have given me a cold shoulder
You could have shot me down

For some odd reason, you let me in
We've shown each other
Each other's scars
Told our deepest darkest
Vowed to never lie

Of all the people in the world
You chose me to be your friend
Thank you

For you, I would do anything
And if it was my last dying breath,
I'd save it to tell you
That I love you
I'm so glad I know you
You're my best friend

(I care about you so much
I'm unable to fully express it
This is a slight glimpse of
How much I love you
But this doesn't even get close)
