Reality?

I gaze into the murky depths
From the safety of my womb
Is this bliss? A curse? a tomb?
It's a struggle, a veritable battle
Are we free? Or just cattle?
Try to disconnect
From what you 'know'
Images on a screen
Things are not what they seem
I try to climb up
What's in the projection box?
A prison of the mind
Stuck in one perspective
I know there's something more
But I'm stuck on the surface
Far from the core
Ah well it's no use
I could think about it
Til I could think no more

Dear Canadian neighbor, Lubnaan, You've done an excellent interpretation of these feelings and the quest for knowing what is the truth and reality. You show keen insight into the workings of our minds ... and that vague mystery and illusiveness of things that are sure. I don't think its possible to know for certain what is reality. Thanks for reading A Farmer of Souls. Bizzy 'Clean is beautiful!' |
