You’re caught up in an emotional swamp…
Live and let live,
you don’t care for much.
Deep within your faceless fears,
an ocean of tears...
Hidden within your diary of sadness,
a touch of madness…
of what is, and what you want it to be.
Shattered glass and falling ceilings…
laughing, crying, tossing and turning.
You’re walking the thin line,
between reality and illusion…
only to wake from a crazy dream.

Wow .. hard hitting, OD.
I found the imagery to be extremely emotive. Your word choices and
metaphors leave a lasting impression. I was pulled in many emotional
directions ... excellent write.
reality and illusion ... sometimes it's hard to know the difference ..
