pretty, bubbly, fun
you can’t have it all
everyone knows you can’t have your cake and eat it too
classy, humorous, intelligent
you can’t have it all
you don’t want to get caught with your pants down, do you?
new, uninhibited, wild
you can’t have it all
when will you finally face the music?
differences in each
but you just can’t have it all
better be careful, three strikes and you’re out
take a shot in the dark
maybe you’ll get burned
but, just maybe, you will learn…
We have feelings too.

Not quite sure what to make of this poem. Do I like the repetitive chorus throughout?
The author's right, you can't have it all. Does the poem end up being the cliche too and is this its intention?
Interesting closing line. "'We' have feelings too."
Who are 'we'?
