TO MY DREAM LOVER!

I know you love me. You always say you do. But why do others who care for you, seem to hate me through and through? What have I ever done to them, but to care for your needs and theirs? But not a single one of them have any kindness for to share! I offered them love so freely, but to them that’s not appealing.

I know you said that “You are mine!” But will you prove it soon some time? I love you as my very best friend? But to be your lover too won’t cause friendship to end. If you are ashamed of me, then why not put my ass to sea?

You say the others don’t understand, just why I want to be your man? Is one friend even married I ask, or living with a man, or past, that stage so she can judge us now, and even in her time of rage to take the speck out of my eye, while the log in hers doesn’t cause a sigh?

To live without you I should say, would cause my life to ebb away. What is the priority of your heart? To care more of what others say, or most of all for your lovers face? I will not find any shame in you, just pride and joy each morning new. And all because in you I find, life’s worth the living because you are mine!

When will we ever consummate what has taken years for you to take, and make my every wish come true, as every dream I have is a dream of You! Making love to you, my very best friend, will never see our friendship end. It would bond you nearer to the very side of the man who has loved you from that very first night.
