My heart pounds beneath my feet
all I need is another blast beat
the ballad for tonight is that look in your eyes
as your forehead sweats and your mouth is spitting lines
scream me another lullaby
one for those that never sleep
tell my story with your strings
fingers rapid
barely seen
my brain pounds in my ears
a unique passion is what I want to hear
the battle for the evening's in the center of the floor
I'm watching
and I'm waiting
and I'm begging for more
scream me another love song
one atleast 4 minutes long
break it down at the end of the night
I love to watch those scene kids fight

man that reminds me i havent been to a gig in so long... i always feel so awesome after one...
seriously scene kids annoy me i always find it entertaining to watch them fight...
think the best line i ever heard was emo kids, beat them for life..
i heard that at a download festival in england... was so funny as a bunch of emo kids walked by the guy that shouted it and looked soooo scared!
you definitely captured the feeling of a gig! love it! |

wow, Stephanie, I've never witnessed a piece about something I so
DON'T relate to and enjoyed it so immensely! This was really a feat to
be accomplished! You captured emotions that we all experience, though
not by the same inspirations .. bravo, poet. BRAVO!

holy *****e dude!!! i LOVE this poem!!! totally got the feeling of a show and reading this has inspired me!! I play in a rock band that just played our first show at a local hall opening for 2 other local bands, and I really want to make a song out of this! We're not a rich or famous band by any means at all, so I can't offer you any compensation
