not wasting anytime

Topic: LovePoetry

i can see you standing there now
your going to try & not smile
& im going to try and not run to you
we play ourselves off as being cool
when we both know that
you want to smile so big, it lights a distant planet
& that i want to run my way to you, not wasting anytime
I hold you're necklace around my neck in my hands
every day gone, is one day closer to you
i will replace the position of the necklace with you're hands
for a short time
In a way, i dont want the days to go by fast
I want to embrace not having you now
so when i do
We will make stars crash into one another with our brilliance
The sun will shine on us
for that short time
it's only a taste, a tiny part of what we'll forever have
oh, when i see you
we're going to make stars crash
Not wasting anytime

"We will make stars crash into one another with our brilliance"

Friend, that is one of the most exquisite and beautifully poetic lines
I've read in a very long time. Damn! I love how this started as
a moment of shyness and moved into the boldness of that line! SHOOT!

Oh, YES! This is what poetry is .. it is the making of emotions in
the reader E X P L O D E ! ! There is a soft passion in this just
waiting to burst at the seems! Beautiful work, poet. Just beautiful!

*sigh*
