Another church,
Is it a way to reach the Heaven
Or just another joke...
Alone under my thoughts
I'm listening a prayer,
My grave shines waiting for me,
I'm lost in my pain,
Wanting to be in Spain.
I'm hating my watch
'Cause it sings my misery;
Now I remember the cemetery
Seen under night's mistery.
With the crosses and the Pyramid
Calling me to check its new
But always old death-stories.
Another graveyard
Surrounding the old church,
Is it about to send me to Heaven?
Or just under one of his grave stones?
Maybe inside the dust alongside creatures
Which don't need Sun.
Another church...I'm sick of them...I love 'em all!
Maybe I'll find God inside...But it's closed.

This is very expressive. I could really connect with the thoughts and feelings of the poem. It is pointed but still just vague enough that the reader can allow his own experiences and feelings to overlap those of the author. This work has some real promise. |
