Frost graces these wings arched portraying savagery
Above echoes tranquility, while below our feet leaves foreshadow
New corpses hang from such former masters
Subject to observations by starved scavengers
Gather the pieces to fabricate a vision
Don't hold your breath, you grasp reminiscence
Caught between vessels
Entangled by dust, the ash of fantasy
Fragments collaborate, you reanimate
Twisted into beauty accrued after this chaos reversed
And I rue the seasons that will deform this
As we cycle and leaves change colors
One day lament will enslave me
So unto tomorrow I caress the fallible
This phase will not relent, I embrace you in memory
No doubt stray fragments will collide with tragedy
If yesterday predicts something meaningful,
Remorse awaits on shores of forever
So unto tomorrow I caress the never.
