Upon the wintry shores of time,
There sits the man of Evermore,
In the place where fear and hurt
Can whisper to him nevermore.
The golden leaves dance in the breeze,
And laugh away the moonlit night,
As the tranquil waves lap to sea
The job problems and money tight.
While whistling winds blow secret truths
Of happiness and life and love,
And as he sits and ponders all,
A snowflake joins him from above.
He watches stars o'er mountaintops,
Smiles broadly, truly satisfied,
As I walk down the winding path,
And to the shores of time, go I.
