Bittersweet Dreams

I walk my way down this bittersweet road,
Amidst winding walkways beaneath moonlit skies
Amidst winding footsteps that stood here before me.
I walk my way down this bittersweet road-
To find the one dream that will not be captured.

I walk my way down this bittersweet road,
Amidst darkened tree-tops that tower above
Amidst washed- away hopes that drifted before me.
I walk my way down this bittersweet road-
and I dream.

i thought this was a good piece it made me think of me walking down a long narrow road I liked it
