in my eyes
you'll come to find
in it's beauty lies
true love, devine

upon these lips
a soft reply
a passionate kiss
a quiet sigh

a gentle touch
of a love so bold
comes from my hands
that are yours to hold

in my arms
a place to hide
and i'll give you my heart
yours for mine

Every once in a while I come across a poem that I can relate to and understand ...... so simple in words yet speaks volumes. This I liked ...... I'm no critic but to simplify the last 2 stanzas and Keep the meter would change it to this ..... but it's great the way it is.

a gentle touch
of a love so bold
comes from my hands --- comes from hands
that are yours to hold ---- are yours to hold

in my arms
a place to hide
and i'll give you my heart --- i'll give you my heart
yours for mine --- your heart for mine
