|
You came upon me as i fought against all You were.
Taking me by storm and showing me Your life.
i became alive with Your promise, Your vitality.
Everything i was falling off,
Everything i'd done coming back-
Waves of remorse - fear.
Your promise has cleansed my soul,
Taken me places i wouldn't face on my own.
Shown me my faults and the wrongs that i'd done.
Each day that goes by a new sin shown by the Son.
Even now, months gone by, You're changing my life.
Those stubborn faults and deeds from the old self still fight.
Yet, i know that you take each and every one up on high,
And plead my case for that's why You did die.
