How can one see the grass to grow,
the flowers bloom from seed yet sown
Take all what's treasured from those now gone
to live what's left, til set of sun
The blue of sky, I most behold
the morning dew, the ground still cold
of who's interred, those yet to come
to now embrace this set of sun
The wind will blow, the trees to move
what is there yet, for me to prove
That I was here when day is done?
stray not my course, from set of sun
A stone carved deep, to keep me here
I will be free please do not fear
Tho' life was trying, I had my fun
I now look to, the set of sun
So shed no tears from saddened eyes
no word to utter of last goodbyes
I ran the race and I have won
now quench the flame, it's set of sun
