Perhaps it's merely that life is unfair,
For in this lifetime, you have given my share
Of fears for the future and tears of the past.
Perhaps life is unfair- or just moving too fast.
Perhaps it's just that you've gone blind-
This hold is immeasurable; you cannot loosen the bind
Of the worries and hardships that blocked your path last.
Perhaps life is unfair- for it's moving too fast.
