“Missing”
Sensibility pleases me no more,
sanity I no longer desire,
a lost sailor I, and happiness but a distant shore,
paddle and paddle aimlessly, I quickly tire.
All I hear is mere cacophony,
the birds and the winds grow silent,
all music misses symphony,
all sounds seem like thunders violent.
Thy touch I miss,
and the sound of thy voice.
The touch which induces heavenly bliss,
and the voice without which I'd die.
