Distance helping the heart grow fonder?
Or simply the days seem longer?
Impossible this seems.
Not to stare in your green eyes at night.
Or touch your prickley chin
Smell your wet hair after you shower
Seems like i cant win.

Wishing i could scream aloud
I just want you here with me!
Selfish as i know it is.
Wishing i could make you see.
You'll always belong here with me.
You didn't have to go,
But did.

My heart would be breaking-
If it wasn't yours.
You stole it from me long ago.
And the choice is yours to make.
Will you still hold to my heart?
Please don't let it break.
I am keeping yours
As promised I would-
Always close to me.

Need to see your face again.
Hold you in my arms.
Come home to me.
Home is where your heart is.
Where i am.
Waiting for you.
As promised i would-
Though hard as it may be.
