I wish what she did didn’t bother me,
Her new way of moving on,
We used to be butt buddies forever,
Now her butt is gone.
Her eating disorder has defeated,
Now it eats away at me.
She has no idea that I’ve struggled
This long to set her free.
I’m certain she wants to be this way,
But I still can’t seem to understand,
What made her this unhappy.
I think of the past and smile,
Wishing it was in reach,
My “best friend forever”
Is no longer what I need.
