This is dediated to Jenna, for a future with us in it.
For your aged image
We created the world,
Through our years.
And now we leave it,
Like we think you would,
Have wanted for us.
Now we leave this place,
Never to see home again,
As our first hearth fades.
This is how it ends,
Swallowed in our inferno,
but not in darkness.
And now we must leave,
The cradle for the last time,
That’s what you would want.

I like this, it is smooth, and means something. It's kinda deep for me, I don't think about things like that very often. Good write. |

I have no clue what you were watching. I think the punctuation is not correct in what you were trying to say....not sure. The first lines of the poem are too abstract. |
