There are no butterflies when we kiss…
No bells ringing or songs echoing in my ears when I see you…
But then…when I think about it…
There is just so much more…
The crisp clear smell as the first raindrops fall on the thirsty ground….
That’s what I feel when I see you…
Empathy not just in standing in each other shoes,
But walking the road together my hand in your hand…
Deep need to know, understand and feel each other…
Inside and out…
Happiness beyond the sound of laughter or fleeting moments of joy….
Happiness inside one another…
Extreme passion…
Complete loss of control….
Souls as one as we connect bodies, soul and minds…
Soft words gently spoken to my soul…
A sense of belonging…being part of a whole.
There are no butterflies when we kiss…
We are complete without them….
