Love's Conversation

Contributed by The_Phantom on Monday, 10th March 2003 @ 07:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

He has been torn apart by a war of the heart,
He hides his pain, some call him insane,
I want to ask, what he hides behind that mask,

" Quote the Raven, is my life worth saving,
Fore you are my guideing light in this darkness I call life,
Behind my mask, hides the scars of love past,"

He thinks he is alone in all of this, he dwells in the abyss,
He thinks no one knows his pain, and his tears hidden by rain,
I know his pain I live it everyday, ansewer me I pray,

" Oh sweet love you do not know the horrors I've felt, the ones I confine in myself,
You do not know the tears I weep, everynight when you sleep,
I watch you pray, and find myself still staring come the light of day,"

I listen to his lonely cries in the night, they echo throughout my mind,
His heart calls to me, as if to say we're meant to be,
He tries to ignore the fact he feels it too, Oh Phantom please be true,

" Yes I am here, and I know my love for you is not yet clear,
And yes we're meant to be, the sound of your voice sets my soul free,
My words are true, I do hope you are not confused,"

They say you can not be found, they say you live underground,
But I know where to look, inside my heart that's all it took,
I'll follow you through the darkest of shadows, I'll be waiting at the end of your battles,

" There in your heart, that's a good start,
Fore I have never left, I've been with you every step,
To the shadows we will go, this darkness I live you will come to know,"

In the depths of hell, is that where my lover dwells,
I'd give my life if you asked, I love this man behind the mask,
I love you for what you are and are not.... " Stop,"

" Come to me, let are passion flow free,
Look into my eyes, and tell your lonesome world goodbye,
Surrender yourself to me, and our love will live eternily."

Forever Faithful
The Phantom / Raven
