In her memory bitter-sweet she goes back in time.
To a place where rivers run wild roses bloom sublime.
A little girl with soft brown eyes, petals falling at her feet.
Wild and free as the roses soft fragrance so pure and sweet.
As years moved on the little girl grew into a woman.
Shadows of the past at times leave her heart lost and sullen.
The wild yellow roses bloom from generations past.
The roses never fade away just as memories of yesterday will last.
