My dear sweet friend
Since we first met
There's not one day
That I regret
Having ever branded you
Of all people
As one that I will never forget
We went to school
That's where we met
Surrounded by so many
And yet
We found each other
Now, on that day
Was that fate?
Or my chips you just ate?
Off in distant centuries later
I see us in years
Far more greater
We're clubbing till we're 99
On a cruise
Sipping on the finest wine
In our orthopedic shoes
My message here
Is we're friends till the end
To me you are
the greatest godsend

Nice poem, really paints a picture of strong and undying friendship, the kind that gives you comfort on your death bed, good writting |
