A Song of Our own

Rose petals entwine with the strands of your hair
In a house of sky where city lights cry
Unto a moon so full of your glow;
A secret I've always sought to know.
Step by step, we walk together in time
Singing a song as the day rolls along
About a single note impossible to hit;
And we are perfect because of it.
Take my hands and spin with me!
Take my hands and spin with me!
It's like a fantasy only hopeless fools dream...
Ripples in their water show realities faltered...
But our reality is a dream standing alone
Where roses are lips that kiss a song of our own.
