The Forgotten Little Sister

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I was never scared
When we were younger
I knew you would
Protect me against anything
That could ever hurt me
A safety net
That only you could provide
We grew older and wiser
Slowly into young adults
Making our own choices
Yours weren't the greatest...
But neither were mine!
And I always
Had your support
You never misled or betrayed me
You were always there
To love me
When I was stupid
Carry me
When i was weak
And yell at me
When I needed it
We grew up together
Almost the same person
But in different bodies
Our lives only mimicked
One another
So now when I think
Of you not bein here
It hurts
Deeper than words
Deeper than tears
And anger
And I am left
With emptiness and questions
I thought
You'd always be here
But your not
You were my world
And I,yours
So how could you leave
Without me ?

I sorry for your lost it is a rather hard time to go thru I too, lost my brother and it hurts something furious!!I written a poem about him "Called The Angel Of Death"
I miss him terrible..The lord will surely take care of you and in time will ease your pain, never to get over but if it had been your time you would have gone with him..

God Bless & You Have My Love
